American Tennis Courts, Inc., based in Mobile, Alabama, was founded in 1969. Jeff Nichols, a Certified Tennis Court Builder, as recognized by the American Sports Builders Association, has owned and operated the company for over 25 years. Over the years, American Tennis Courts has constructed thousands of tennis courts and other recreational facilities mainly throughout the Southeast and but does travel further for particular projects and customers.
American Tennis Court is proud to have been chosen to work on some of the most prominent recreational facilities in our service area including: Pepsico Tennis Facility (New Orleans City Park, constructed after Hurricane Katrina), Copeland-Cox Tennis Facility (Largest Public Tennis Facility including 60 hard courts of the same surface), Westgate Tennis Facility (initial installation of 16 Har-Tru tennis courts), and the USTA National Headquarters in Lake Nona (installed the initial surfacing on all 46 cushioned hard courts).
According to Nichols, “we strive to be flexible enough in training and certification, to provide any court, any surface to meet the needs of any customer”.
