TitanTrax for Running Tracks

From the moment an athlete sets eyes – and feet – on a track, they know its quality. TitanTrax Air and TitanTrax Shield running tracks are a revolutionary membrane system applied over asphalt or concrete tracks, to protect against cracking and extend the life of an existing track or high jump area.

New additions to the line is the TitanTrax CPR. The running track market is highly competitive and price sensitive. High schools especially are replacing their latex and base mat urethane worn out systems with new latex or black base mat tracks. Many times they cannot afford to replace the worn out asphalt under the surface, These tracks have areas of structural cracking across the track and on the paving joints. These areas will re-crack thru the new surface even if they are patched.

Designed specifically with resurfacing in mind, TitanTrax CPR is applied directly over the crack. TitanTrax CPR materials are intended to assist in protecting track surfaces from moisture that may rise or migrate from the underlying base while protecting the underlying pavement base from water intrusion. Rolls of TitanTrax CPR are 18” wide to bridge the highest area of movement on a crack and are sealed into place with a flexible adhesive tape. CPR assists in prevention of reflective cracks onto the new track surface. The dimensionally stable system allows the track surface to lay uniformly in all directions on top of existing track, without threat of expansion or contraction in fluctuating temperatures.
